Hi, my name is Amanda Seigmeier. I have been a photographer since childhood. I owned my first Kodak LA Brites, fluro yellow film camera at the age of 11 and thought I was flash as!! They came with matching sunnies you know!
Before that I had used my Mum's old late 60's compact model Kodak. No one was safe from my little lens not even our horses, cats or dog. Things really haven't changed......
So, in case you can't tell I have always had an intense love for photography. The thing that I really love about it is, that with the simple push of the shutter release button a story can be told and a memory frozen in time. This can be done in the traditional photographic sense or it can be done creatively.
Both are incredible in my eyes. Constantly I am learning and growing as a photographer and am loving every minute of it. I suffered for many years with a health issue where I couldn't photograph anything because the disease I suffered from rendered me unable to even hold my camera.
This taught me to appreciate life and to enjoy it as much as I can. I am eternally grateful that my health has improved and am now able to live a full, happy and healthy life. Because of this I create images from the heart and throw myself into whatever I'm trying to tell through them.
Please feel free to leave a comment, even if it's just to say hello because I'm a pretty friendly person and would love to say hello back! If you see an image you like, please feel free to check out my shop because some are for sale. I'm also on Facebook, Instagram and Adobe Stock.
